The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kouhmagannou changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gayson tries to avoid it but Kouhmagannou manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gayson to the ground. Gayson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kouhmagannou quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gayson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kouhmagannou celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

In his post fight interview, Shabady Kouhmagannou started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
