Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between VJ Mithani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brayan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mithani kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Forever - Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem. Brayan Smith is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Smith fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mithani sprawls well initially but Smith persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mithani shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Mithani keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mithani feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mithani tries to score with some ground and pound. Smith controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Mithani is looking to take a break and control but Smith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mithani sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smith's guard.
Mithani frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Brayan Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Mithani's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Smith tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mithani cranks the arm and Smith screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Smith, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
