PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsufubu Rofuru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorge Jurgel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rofuru comes to the cage accompanied by Tetsuya Komuro - Speed 2. Jurgel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rock N Roll Train kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rofuru looks to land a strike but Jurgel avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Rofuru lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jurgel down.
Jurgel manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rofuru's best efforts.

Rofuru postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jurgel throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rofuru uses it to pass to side control.
Rofuru scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jurgel to see if he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jurgel has a hand on Rofuru's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Rofuru takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
