Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nihau Lee Mamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teixeira's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eu quero ver o oco - Ramundos. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamura fails in his attempt to clinch.

Mamura closes the distance and clinches.

Teixeira changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mamura fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mamura keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
and Mamura holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A knee to the head by Teixeira.

Teixeira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Teixeira pushes Mamura away with a front kick.
Teixeira scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Good leg kick by Teixeira there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Teixeira feints and then cracks Mamura's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mamura down.
Mamura takes a kick to the side of the head.
Teixeira shoots in but no luck this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Teixeira stuffs the takedown.
Mamura shoots for a double leg takedown but Teixeira sprawls well. He's pushed Mamura's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Teixeira scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Teixeira closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mamura with a lazy takedown attempt

and Teixeira decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mamura's guard.
Mamura throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Teixeira throws a strike but Mamura rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Teixeira has his foot on Mamura's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mamura works his way back into a safe position though.

Teixeira tries to pull guard but Mamura holds him up against the cage and eventually Teixeira drops back down to his feet.

Teixeira is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mamura is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

and Teixeira cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Teixeira shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mamura's guard.
