Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Silvio Dante (ranked 3050 p4p, 324 weight class) and Crack Head (ranked 2953 p4p, 318 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Silvio Dante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crack Head!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Head is defended easily by Dante.
Dante blocks a jab.

Dante gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dante wants to stand but Head is controlling the position.
Head loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dante wants to stand up but Head is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dante trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Head trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dante avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dante wants to stand and escape but Head is having none of it.

Head throwing strikes but missing.

Head has gone for a leg lock! Dante slips out almost immediately though and dives into Head's guard.

Head is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Dante get's back to his feet.
We've been told by Dante's head coaches at RWB GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Head has his takedown stuffed
and Dante counters with a straight right hand.
Dante works Head's body with a nice hook.
Head changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dante tries to avoid it but Head manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dante to the ground. Dante escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silvio Dante has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crack Head.

Dante scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Head moves out of range as Dante strikes.
Head is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dante sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Head takes one on the chin but seems OK.

enabling Dante to counter with a crisp jab.
Head misses the jab.
Dante connects with a looping right hand.

Nice uppercut there from Dante.

and Dante counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Head badly! Dante follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Head out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Dante finished him against the cage.

Silvio Dante really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Knockdown Clothes logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
