Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikki Sixx (ranked 1866 p4p, 236 weight class) and Kevin Huang (ranked 1131 p4p, 156 weight class). Sixx comes to the cage accompanied by Niykee Heaton. Kevin Huang is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sixx sprawls well initially but Huang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Sixx has one foot on Huang's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Huang is looking to clinch but Sixx is avoiding it.
Kevin Huang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Huang drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Sixx is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Huang defends well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sixx working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Huang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Huang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sixx holds on and takes a little breather.

Sixx is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Huang passes Sixx's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Huang is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sixx is trying to maintain the position but Huang is very close to passing his half guard.

Huang is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sixx sees it coming and defends easily.
Huang is nestled in close to Sixx, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
My spies in Relentless Gym inform me that Huang has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Sixx has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Huang is working away from the top position though.

Huang lands a big elbow.

Huang is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sixx is surviving well by controlling Huang's body position as best he can.
