The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daniel.
Daniel avoids the body shot from Riner.
Daniel blocks a head kick by Riner.
Duke Riner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Daniel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Riner wants to sweep here but Daniel controlling him for the moment.

Riner is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Daniel scores with a couple of nice shots.
