Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Mckee (ranked 24772 p4p, 0 weight class) and Requis Bently (ranked 4606 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mckee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bently on his heels. He'll look to pass Bently's guard now, I'm sure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mckee connects with a nice short shot to Bently's temple.

Bently drives through and clinches with Mckee against the cage.
Bently jumps guard but Mckee stands there with Bently around his waist. Bently gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bently lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bently moves into the clinch successfully.
Bently jumps guard but Mckee turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bently has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mckee after a bit of a struggle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bently. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bently changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mckee fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bently gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mckee to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Requis Bently is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
