Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinand Marquez (ranked 3715 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamil Westwood (ranked 3273 p4p, 0 weight class). Marquez has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westwood lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Westwood moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Westwood is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Westwood works over Marquez's head and body with a nice combination.
Some wild striking there from Marquez.
Marquez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Westwood.
Westwood throws a counter combo.
Marquez is breathing heavily.
Marquez swats away the attempt to clinch by Westwood.
Westwood tries to close the distance and clinch but Marquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Marquez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Westwood is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marquez throws a powerful right kick. Westwood tried to block low but the kick was high! Westwood was taken right off of his feet! Marquez jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
