And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Power lands a head shot.
Almeida gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Power.
It looks like Antonio Almeida has been cut.
Almeida with a poor takedown
and Power counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Almeida tries for a takedown but Power circles away easily
and Almeida takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Almeida has been working on his balance at Russian Bears Training Center (14 Elite, 1 Double , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Power.
Power lands an overhand right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Power lunges at Almeida with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Almeida's hand.
Power lands a right hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Almeida closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Almeida lands in his opponent's guard.

Almeida drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Almeida seems to have locked his on tight now - Power screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Almeida, as he picks up the win!
