And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Klos.
Klos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Klos swats away the attempt to clinch by Macmacson.
Macmacson lands with an uppercut that bounces Klos off the cage and back into range.
Klos misses with a straight left.
A little feinted left hand from Macmacson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Macmacson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Klos looks to land a right hand but Macmacson moved out of range.
Macmacson quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macmacson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Klos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Klos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Macmacson.
Macmacson lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Macmacson lands a nice shot to the body.
Klos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Macmacson doesn't seem bothered though.

Macmacson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Klos tries to stall but Macmacson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Macmacson misses with some punches.
Macmacson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Macmacson swings wildly with an uppercut but Klos uses good head movement to avoid it.

Macmacson breaks the clinch.

Macmacson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Klos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Macmacson's hands.
Klos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Travis Macmacson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macmacson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Klos.
Macmacson throws a counter high kick but Klos was just alert enough to avoid it.
Travis Macmacson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Klos lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Macmacson at a distance.
Klos looks to score with a jab to the body but Macmacson is just out of range.

Klos takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Klos throws a looping overhand right but Macmacson ducks down to avoid it.

Klos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Macmacson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Macmacson looks to clinch
and Macmacson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Macmacson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Macmacson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Klos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Macmacson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Macmacson tries to clinch up but Klos circles away and keeps his distance.

Klos throws a jab when Macmacson was well out of range.
Macmacson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Macmacson takes one on the button.
Macmacson walks into a left hand.

Macmacson is rocked!
Macmacson misses with a hook
and Klos rattles Macmacson with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Macmacson tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Klos dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Macmacson stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cal Klos!
A determined Cal Klos didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
