Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Sir (ranked 3161 p4p, 372 weight class) and Miguel Dela Vega (ranked 3936 p4p, 428 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pablo Sir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Dela Vega!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sir pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

It looks like Miguel Dela Vega has been cut.
Sir takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Dela Vega feints and as Sir raises his hands in defense, Dela Vega changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sir working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dela Vega doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dela Vega manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
