Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glover Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Mitichyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitichyan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gladiator Theme Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Roman Mitichyan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mitichyan but Mitichyan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Mitichyan tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mitichyan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Mitichyan, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Mitichyan against the cage but Mitichyan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mitichyan is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold.

Mitichyan wants to stand and escape but Johnson is having none of it.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mitichyan explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Mitichyan is pressed up against the cage. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mitichyan down to the mat. Mitichyan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mitichyan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
