Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Taz Duncan (ranked 6547 p4p, 277 weight class) and Landon Cannon (ranked 4030 p4p, 220 weight class). Taz Duncan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Landon Cannon!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan throws a leg kick
and Cannon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Duncan!
Cannon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cannon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Duncan is looking for a sweep.
Cannon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duncan is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duncan prevents Cannon from improving position.
Cannon swings around for an armbar but Duncan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cannon's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cannon keeping full guard, as Duncan tries to pass.
Cannon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cannon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duncan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duncan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cannon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Duncan wants to get up but he can't break Cannon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Cannon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Duncan.
Cannon looking for a guillotine here but Duncan defends easily.
Duncan is looking to stand up but Cannon won't let him.
Duncan throwing strikes from guard but Cannon blocks nicely.
Duncan trying to control the position from guard on top but Cannon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Duncan looking to sit in guard and control but Cannon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Cannon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duncan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cannon, into his guard.
Cannon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Duncan stacks Cannon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Duncan!
Duncan is working to tighten his grip on Cannon's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cannon has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Duncan is really squeezing tight and eventually Cannon passes out! Duncan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
