Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Carlos (ranked 19393 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Bruise (ranked 2237 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramon Carlos !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dominick Bruise!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Bruise misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Bruise misses the target.
Carlos just misses with a punch to the body.
Carlos misses the body punch
and Bruise counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bruise takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bruise swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Carlos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Dominick Bruise has been cut.
Carlos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Carlos misses the jab.
Bruise looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Carlos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bruise counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carlos throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bruise smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Carlos tries to clinch up but Bruise circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carlos ducks under a wild hook from Bruise.
It looked like Carlos was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bruise.
Ramon Carlos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bruise avoids the head kick by Carlos .
Carlos loads up on a big right hand but Bruise slips the punch.
Nice uppercut there from Bruise.
Bruise moves away from the strike by Carlos .

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carlos fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bruise checks it well.
Carlos throws a leg kick
and Bruise connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bruise dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bruise lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bruise misses with a head kick.
Carlos swings widly with a right hand
and Bruise cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carlos rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bruise counters with a straight right hand.
Good work by Carlos as he checks the leg kick.
Bruise walks into a straight right hand from Carlos .
Carlos on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
No joy there for Bruise, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carlos throws a nice looking combination but Bruise bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A countering left hand to the body from Bruise misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carlos pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bruise throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bruise checks a leg kick.
Bruise is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Carlos had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Carlos looks to clinch
and Bruise counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carlos lands a leg kick that knocks Bruise off balance momentarily.
Carlos throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Carlos throws the kick towards the body but Bruise avoids it.
Carlos doesn't manage to clinch there - Bruise circles away.
Carlos throws a one two combo.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Carlos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bruise has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bruise and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bruise takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


Bruise is rocked!
The fighters circle momentarily. Carlos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bruise is still on wobbly legs! Can Carlos finish him?
A swing and a miss from Bruise.
Carlos drops Bruise with a big left hand! Bruise is injured, injured bad! Carlos jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ramon Carlos !
Ramon Carlos decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
