The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dempsey as he avoids it easily.
Dempsey stuffs the takedown attempt from McCoy. McCoy gets slowly back to his feet.
McCoy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dempsey swivels and escapes.
Nick Dempsey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tenno McCoy.
Dempsey throws a right and a left that both miss.
McCoy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dempsey.

McCoy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dempsey wants to get back to his feet but McCoy is dominant here and he's now got Dempsey's back!
Dempsey is trying to stand but he's just given McCoy his back.

McCoy is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Dempsey with him. Dempsey is trying to defend but McCoy has an arm under the chin now! Dempsey grimaces and is forced to tap out!
