Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Forbes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiger Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Forbes kicks Jenkins off and gets back to his feet.
Jenkins tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Forbes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Jenkins gets a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Forbes is trying to stand up here but Jenkins is controlling him well.
Forbes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jenkins wants to control but Forbes is keeping him busy.
Forbes missing with punches from the bottom.
Jenkins is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Jenkins prevents Forbes from standing back up.
Jenkins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Forbes is looking to get back to is feet but Jenkins passes into side control.
Forbes is trying to control Jenkins's posture but Jenkins avoids it.
Jenkins prevents Forbes from escaping the position.

Jenkins decides to stand up, so the ref orders Forbes to his feet.

Jenkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Forbes has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jenkins off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Jenkins moves to clinch but Forbes breaks away
and Forbes counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Jenkins shoots in and bounces Forbes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Forbes is working an open guard so Jenkins takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Forbes clinches with his opponent.
Forbes jumps guard but Jenkins stands there with Forbes around his waist. Forbes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jenkins has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Forbes is trying to keep an underhook but Jenkins manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Forbes pushes Jenkins off but Jenkins dives into side control.
Forbes is breathing heavily.
Forbes is trying to buck Jenkins off.

Jenkins slows the pace down.
Jenkins advances to full mount.
Jenkins trying to control but Forbes is having none of it.
Forbes is desperately trying to improve his position but Jenkins has a good base and remains in mount.
Forbes wants to control but Jenkins is having none of it.
Jenkins tries to control but Forbes wriggling away.
Forbes tries to improve his position but instead Jenkins has taken his back!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Forbes trying to control the position but Jenkins manages to sink in the hooks.

Forbes is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Jenkins is persistently looking for the submission but Forbes is defending it well.

Forbes is trying to defend against the choke here but Jenkins has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Jenkins Tightens the hold and Forbes taps out furiously! Jenkins displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
