The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper connects with a good right hand that stumbles Balle. Balle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Balle staying out of range there.
Balle lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Connor Harper has been cut.
Harper misses with a body kick.
Connor Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harper is looking to clinch.
A countering left hand to the body from Balle misses.
Harper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Balle lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Harper at a distance.
Balle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Harper instigates a clinch.
Balle lands with a short shot to the head.
Balle goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Balle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Balle sends Harper crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Balle is motioning to the referee to let Harper up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Harper is rocked!
Balle fakes the body blow, causing Harper to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Harper goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
