And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from LaRussa both land. Nice combination.
LaRussa throws a nice head kick!
LaRussa throws a shot to the body.
Fang has a takedown stuffed.
LaRussa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fang fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fang closes the distance and clinches up with LaRussa, looking for a takedown. Fang pushes LaRussa against the ropes but LaRussa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
TJ LaRussa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Weng Fang.
LaRussa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Fang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has LaRussa pinned against the cage. LaRussa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fang looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LaRussa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fang looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

LaRussa gets a clinch.

Fang shoots in and drives through. LaRussa sprawls well.
LaRussa cracks Fang with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
LaRussa drops Fang with a nice combination! LaRussa dives into Fang's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Weng Fang has been cut.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
LaRussa wanted to stand there but Fang had control of the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

LaRussa stands up from Fang's guard - LaRussa perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fang takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
LaRussa punishes Fang's body with a nice straight punch.
LaRussa scores with a kick to the midsection.
LaRussa lands a nice shot that snaps Fang's head back.
LaRussa connects with a jab.
Weng Fang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaRussa closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Fang is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

LaRussa moves into range and clinches up with Fang.

LaRussa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
LaRussa throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Fang crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
