Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DJ Riles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). D has chosen Heart - Crazy On You as his entrance music. DJ Riles has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DJ Riles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lil D!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Riles lands a straight punch to the body, keeping D at a distance.
D shoots in and drives through. Riles sprawls well.
D closes the distance and clinches up with Riles, looking for a takedown. D pushes Riles against the cage but Riles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
DJ Riles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lil D.

Riles has managed to clinch.
Riles gets underhooks to prevent D's takedown attempt.
D drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Riles ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Riles no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
D trying to control but Riles is working from the bottom.
Riles manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. D manages to get himself to full guard.
Riles controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Lil D seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
D circles away from the clinch attempt.

Riles gets caught flat footed, as D shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Riles tries to land a sweep but no joy.
D with a nice head shot there.
D looks gassed!
D won't allow Riles to get back to his feet.
Riles wants to sweep here but D controlling him for the moment.
Riles is controlling D's posture.
D in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Riles has control of D's left arm, preventing D from doing any damage.

D trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

D is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Riles is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Riles has escaped and now he's on top!
Riles passes D's left leg - he's now in half guard.
D wants to get back to full guard.
Riles wants to control but D is keeping him busy.
Riles passes the guard and advances to mount!
A nice elbow there by Riles.

Riles misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Riles blocks D's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Riles lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Riles looking to control and managing it successfully.

Riles controlling the pace for now.
D looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Riles has the hooks in. D is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Riles passes his arm under D's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, D taps!
