Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorginho Marcelo (ranked 1963 p4p, 231 weight class) and Arod Doyea (ranked 2172 p4p, 250 weight class). Doyea is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Doc Holiday - Volbeat. Arod Doyea will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcelo doesn't manage to clinch there - Doyea circles away.
Marcelo blocks a head kick by Doyea.
Marcelo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Doyea wants to get back to his feet.

Marcelo is looking to take a break and control but Doyea is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've been hearing good reports from Marcelo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marcelo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Doyea sprawls well initially but Marcelo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Arod Doyea.
