The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forte stuffs the takedown attempt from Darko. Darko gets slowly back to his feet.

and Forte counters with a head kick.

Darko tries to sprawl but Forte drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Forte working Darko over with strikes.
Darko wants to improve his position but Forte is controlling well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Forte connects with a nice short shot to Darko's temple.
Darko is looking to control Forte's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Darko avoid being mounted?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Forte is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Forte gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Forte looks winded!
Forte with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Darko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Darko wants to control the position but Forte says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Darko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Darko flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Darko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Forte scores with a couple of nice shots.

Forte is trying for a kimura here. Darko looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Forte wins by kimura!
