Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Midget manages to avoid it.
Midget changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Puto gets a clinch.
Puto using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Midget has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Midget takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Justin Midget has been cut.

Puto lands a knee to the head.
Puto lands an elbow that stopped Midget in his tracks for a moment.
Puto lands a shot to the body.
Puto working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Midget is looking to take this one to the mat.
Puto digs a right hand underneath Midget's ribcage. Midget let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Puto lands a good knee to the midsection. Midget won't want to take too many of those.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Puto throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Midget blocks it with crossed arms.

Puto gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Midget is looking to take this one to the mat.
Puto connects with a nasty looking knee right to Midget's face.
Puto with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Puto lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Midget drops down looking for an ankle pick but Puto pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pinchi Puto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Midget.
Midget keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Puto.
Puto throws a right hand that misses
and Midget counters with a shoot takedown. Puto fights it but they end up in guard.
Midget is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Puto is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Puto has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Puto is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Midget has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Puto is looking to defend but Midget has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Puto! Midget pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Puto taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Justin Midget!
