Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trenton Hahn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey Barton!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barton gets a double leg takedown into Hahn's guard.
Barton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Barton felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hahn is nestled in close to Barton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hahn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barton napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hahn decides to stand back up. Hahn steps back and let's Barton get back to his feet.
Hahn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barton tries to avoid it but Hahn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barton to the ground. Barton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
