Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Maan (ranked 1098 p4p, 148 weight class) and Torcadall Sailcirc (ranked 1178 p4p, 162 weight class). Maan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nobody Speak. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maan forces Sailcirc back against the cage and clinches.
A nice left hand lands by Sailcirc.
Sailcirc blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Maan misses with an elbow over the top.
Sailcirc goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Maan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Maan lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sailcirc backwards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sailcirc is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Maan jumps into side control!
A lull in the action here.

Maan decides to stand back up. Maan steps back and let's Sailcirc get back to his feet.
No joy there for Maan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Maan avoids the body shot from Sailcirc.
Maan looks to land a combination. Sailcirc sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Maan misses with a double jab.
Maan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sailcirc is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Maan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Maan's back!

Maan is having to fend off submission attempts from Sailcirc, who is looking to sink in the choke. Sailcirc doesn't have the hooks in though and Maan manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Sailcirc has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Maan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sailcirc.
