The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - von Finkelstein looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Menchov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. von Finkelstein checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Menchov closes the distance looking to clinch
and von Finkelstein connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Viktor Menchov has been cut.
No joy there for von Finkelstein, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
von Finkelstein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Menchov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Menchov looks to clinch
and von Finkelstein counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Menchov! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by von Finkelstein!
