Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Kassongo (ranked 2921 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malachi Lewis (ranked 6479 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis shoots in but no luck this time.
Kassongo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lewis as he jumps to the side.
Kassongo throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.

Kassongo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
