And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickett takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pickett looks for the body kick but Bones saw that one coming.
A shot to the liver by Bones. Beautiful body shot.
Bones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Warner Pickett has been cut.

Pickett drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bones bucks up and tries to throw Pickett off but instead Pickett has got his back!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pickett lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Pickett.
Pickett throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Bones!
Pickett has the hooks in. Bones is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Pickett lands strikes to the head.
Bones is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Pickett is punishing Bones with some ground and pound.
Bones takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Pickett controlling the position well here. Bones rolled but Pickett kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Pickett lands strikes to the head.
Bones covers up after that shot from Pickett.
Pickett gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
What can Bones do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Bones turns into Pickett and is now in his guard.

Bones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pickett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bones is sitting in close to Pickett's body. Pickett has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bones is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bones is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pickett.
