Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Thompson (ranked 6962 p4p, 518 weight class) and Remy Lebeau (ranked 4761 p4p, 428 weight class). Thompson's entrance music is Like a Man. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson dives in and grabs Lebeau's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lebeau pushes down on Thompson's head and hops out.
Thompson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Thompson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lebeau looks to score with a jab to the body but Thompson is just out of range.
Thompson appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Thompson really is a fat lump.

Thompson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lebeau prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaiah Thompson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thompson has Lebeau pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lebeau manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lebeau tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Thompson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thompson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thompson is trying to trip Lebeau. He has hold of a leg but Lebeau is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Thompson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Thompson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lebeau has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thompson has managed to get both his arms back between Lebeau's legs - danger averted.

Lebeau has his feet on Thompson's thighs here. He's pushed Thompson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Thompson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
