The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maximus Meridius showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Meridius clips Odongkara with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Odongkara a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Meridius cracks Odongkara with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Odongkara is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Odongkara is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maximus Meridius comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Meridius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
