PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dorian Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Frehley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frehley has chosen å as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Dorian Freeman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dorian Freeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Frehley!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frehley moves into the clinch.
Frehley looking for a takedown.
Frehley lands a body punch.
Freeman wants to get back to striking at distance but Frehley won't allow it.
Freeman can't break the clinch.
Frehley fails to pull guard.
Freeman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Frehley has had enough of the clinch but Freeman keeps him there for the moment.

Frehley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Freeman is trying to keep an underhook but Frehley manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Freeman tries to get to full guard but Frehley has control of the leg.

Frehley decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Freeman throws a one two combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Freeman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Frehley swivels and escapes.
Frehley moves out of range of the strikes.
Freeman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Freeman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Frehley. That did some damage!
Frehley looks gassed!
Freeman keeps Frehley at a distance using the push kick.
Frehley circles away from the clinch attempt

and Frehley counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Freeman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Frehley is controlling him.

Freeman scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Dorian Freeman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freeman chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Freeman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Freeman lands a big head kick that sends Frehley to the canvas! Freeman follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
