Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marc Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Taylor looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Hunt closes the distance and clinches.
Hunt tries for a takedown but Taylor manages to get underhooks.
Hunt is working for takedown but Taylor is calmly controlling the position for now.
Taylor can't get the takedown.
Taylor goes for a takedown attempt but Hunt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Hunt drives through with a takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hunt seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Taylor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hunt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Taylor's guard.
Hunt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Taylor in particular looking to stall.
Taylor wants to take a breather but Hunt is having none of it.
Hunt won't allow Taylor to pass to mount.

Taylor tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hunt tries to hold on but Taylor postures up.
Taylor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunt is looking to escape.
Hunt wants to control but Taylor is having none of it.
Paul Taylor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Marc Hunt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Taylor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hunt's face.

Well Hunt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
