Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petchuanglek Sitsongrit (ranked 5271 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Time (ranked 4522 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Time misses its intended target.
Time takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sitsongrit connects with a good right hand that stumbles Time. Time circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sitsongrit lands a body shot.

Time shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Sitsongrit tries to roll over but Time keeps him under control.

Time is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sitsongrit trying to hold on to Time's head to control him but Time postures up.

Time is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sitsongrit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Time on the ground.

Sitsongrit has his hands clasped together around Time's back. He's all about the action.

Time is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Time is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Time is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sitsongrit doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Time.

Time thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sitsongrit's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sitsongrit wants to control the action here but instead Time manages to pass to full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Time working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Sitsongrit is wriggling around trying to escape.
Time can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sitsongrit is looking to escape.

Time is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sitsongrit can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Time avoids the attempt from Sitsongrit to control.

Time has control of Sitsongrit's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sitsongrit regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sitsongrit wants to control but Time is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Rickson Time dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Time takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
No luck for Time with that takedown attempt.
Sitsongrit is looking to counter punch.
Time has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sitsongrit.
Rickson Time is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That kick from Sitsongrit tenderised Time's leg. Time is trying to keep his angry face on.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit lands with an uppercut that bounces Time off the cage and back into range.
Time gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sitsongrit counters with an inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Time fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sitsongrit to the ground. Time is now in Sitsongrit's guard.
Sitsongrit is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Time drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Time jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sitsongrit managing to control the position.

Time thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sitsongrit trying to keep a closed guard but Time is proving a slippery customer.
Time won't allow Sitsongrit to sweep him here.
Sitsongrit looking to control.
Sitsongrit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Time drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Time as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Sitsongrit screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Time! Nice submission victory there!
