Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diamond Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diamond Phillips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonny Jones!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips misses with the combination.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Phillips, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Phillips against the cage but Phillips circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Phillips as he avoids it easily.
Diamond Phillips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Jones.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Phillips pushes him off.
Phillips tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Phillips.
Phillips lands with a nice body punch.
Phillips throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Phillips lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jones looks gassed!
Phillips bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Phillips lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Jones falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Diamond Phillips!
