The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ewe misses the shot to the body.
Nikolov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
No joy there for Ewe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nikolov misses with a straight left.
The crowd cheers as Nikolov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ewe doesn't seem phased though.
Nikolov takes a swing at Ewe's ribcage but misses.
Nikolov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ewe counters with a series of strikes. Nikolov will be more careful next time no doubt.

Ewe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nikolov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nikolov misses with an uppercut. Ewe saw that one coming.
An attempted straight right counter from Ewe misses the target.
Ewe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nikolov throws a low kick, looking for Ewe's leg but Ewe calmly moves out of range.
Ewe throws a big counter combination but Nikolov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Ewe connects with a single shot there.

Nikolov is rocked!
Ewe lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Nikolov up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Ewe from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Nikolov's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Screw Ewe!
