PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nosyaj Rram (ranked 144 p4p, 17 weight class) and Liquid Gold (ranked 348 p4p, 43 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rram might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Grace - You Don't Own Me ft. G-Eazy. Liquid Gold will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Nosyaj Rram!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 24 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liquid Gold!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rram fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gold! But no joy.
Gold waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rram.
Gold thumps Rram with a low kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Gold blocks the leg kick.
Rram walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gold looks to land a right hand but Rram moved out of range.
Gold slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rram shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rram looks to land a right hand but Gold moved out of range.

Gold lands a left and a right that send Rram crashing to the mat, dazed. Gold thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rram is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gold throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oh Rram is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rram motions for Gold to come forward. Rram throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rram throws a low kick, looking for Gold's leg but Gold calmly moves out of range.
Gold jabs Rram right on the nose. Rram blinks but takes it well.
Gold is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Gold is looking to clinch but Rram is avoiding it.
Rram lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gold takes a step back to recover.
Gold moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rram punishes Gold's body with a nice straight punch.
Gold throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gold cracks Rram with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rram looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gold finish him?
Gold lands a nice looking body kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gold checks a leg kick.
Rram gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Gold gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liquid Gold!
Liquid Gold is the new featherweight champion!
After winning the bout, Liquid Gold thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
