Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between First Name Second Name (ranked 4126 p4p, 402 weight class) and Peter Dinklage (ranked 5851 p4p, 475 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinklage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Second Name paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Second Name closes the distance and clinches.

Dinklage is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Second Name can't fight it off and eventually Dinklage manages to take the fight to the floor. Second Name looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dinklage looking to sit in guard and control but Second Name gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Second Name distracts Dinklage with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Second Name is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Second Name postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Second Name's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Dinklage throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Second Name thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Second Name trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Second Name stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dinklage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Second Name is keen to just control but Dinklage is a slippery customer.

Second Name is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dinklage defends it well.
Second Name tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dinklage knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dinklage kicks Second Name off and gets back to his feet.

Dinklage lands a nice shot that snaps Second Name's head back.

Dinklage shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dinklage is trying to control the action in half guard but Second Name is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Second Name gets back to full guard.
Second Name doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Dinklage wants to control from the top but Second Name keeps moving.

Second Name pushes a forearm under Dinklage's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dinklage is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
