The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Postol shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hansson pinned against the cage. Hansson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Postol shoots in looking for a takedown but Hansson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Postol's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hansson throws a looping overhand right but Postol ducks down to avoid it.
Hansson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Postol shoots in but no luck this time.
A countering left hand to the body from Hansson misses.

It looks like Sven Postol has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Postol closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hansson circles away.

Hansson scores with a one two! Postol had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hansson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Postol darts in looking for a takedown but Hansson gets double underhooks and turns Postol into the cage.
Hansson pounces like a tiger and cracks Postol with a vicious hook! Postol is down but not out! Hansson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
