Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Tony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Capeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Tony is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Tony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Capeta!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tony shoots for a double leg takedown but Capeta sprawls well. He's pushed Tony's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ray Tony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tony clinches.
Tony is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Capeta goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tony prevents it.
Capeta tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tony smiles and moves away.

Tony takes the fight into the clinch.

Tony jumps guard.
Tony knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Capeta on the ground.
Capeta passes Tony's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tony is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tony is defending against the submission attempts here by Capeta.

Tony is trying to stand back up but Capeta is controlling him
Capeta looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Capeta seems to be working for a kimura but Tony defends the submission attempt.
Tony desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Capeta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tony is just riding it out for now. Capeta eventually gives up the hold.
Capeta looks gassed!
Tony has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Capeta is working away from the top position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tony is trying to stand.
Tony is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Capeta is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tony sees it coming and defends easily.
Tony tries to get to full guard but Capeta has control of the leg.
Capeta is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tony!

Capeta looking for a guillotine from mount but Tony is having none of it.
Tony working to try and regain half guard.
Tony tries to hold on but Capeta postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Capeta has hold of Tony's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tony manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Capeta with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Capeta working for a submission but Tony is keeping him at bay.

Capeta is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tony is surviving well by controlling Capeta's body position as best he can.

Capeta jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tony manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Capeta tries for a kimura but Tony is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Capeta tries to advance to mount but can't.

Capeta tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Tony struggling a bit here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Capeta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tony sprawls well initially but Capeta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tony actively working from the bottom here.

Capeta has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tony defend it? Capeta steps over the head and cranks it - Tony is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Capeta!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Andre Capeta!
