Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Aaron Lowell (ranked 5279 p4p, 464 weight class) and Super Chai Puntasrima (ranked 4576 p4p, 432 weight class). Lowell's entrance music is The Qemists - Run You. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Lowell. That snapped Puntasrima's head back.
Lowell staying out of range there.
Puntasrima has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Puntasrima misses with a lunging right hand
letting Lowell counter with a right hand.
It looks like Super Chai Puntasrima has been cut.
Puntasrima throws a leg kick but Lowell moved away.
Puntasrima jabs Lowell right on the nose. Lowell blinks but takes it well.
Lowell throws an overhand right that lands on Puntasrima's shoulder, as Puntasrima tries to avoid the shot.
A nice combination there by Lowell.
Puntasrima scores with a head kick.
Puntasrima thuds his shin into the meat of Lowell's side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Puntasrima throws a sloppy body shot
and Lowell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Puntasrima is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lowell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lowell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Puntasrima.
Lowell seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
No joy there for Lowell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Puntasrima thumps Lowell with a low kick.
Puntasrima misses with a hook. Lowell ducked under it nicely.
Lowell is looking to counter punch.
Lowell walks into a jab.
Puntasrima fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Puntasrima lands a really nice looking cross but Lowell seems unphased.
Lowell checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lowell on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Puntasrima.
A decent looking cross lands there for Puntasrima.
Lowell lands a really nice looking cross but Puntasrima seems unphased.
Puntasrima lands a leg kick that knocks Lowell off balance momentarily.

Puntasrima throws a shot to the body.
Puntasrima fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lowell is out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Puntasrima throws a push kick but Lowell slaps the foot to one side.
Puntasrima moves away from the strike by Lowell.
Lowell looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lowell moves out of range of the strikes.
Lowell was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Puntasrima sizes up Lowell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Puntasrima looks to land a left hand but Lowell moved out of range nicely.
Lowell with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Puntasrima to score with a decent uppercut.
Puntasrima tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lowell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lowell misses the shot to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lowell checks a leg kick.
It looked like Lowell wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Puntasrima sizes up Lowell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Puntasrima lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Puntasrima throws a lazy uppercut
and Lowell counters with a straight right hand.
Puntasrima moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Puntasrima throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Puntasrima misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Puntasrima takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Puntasrima is rocked!
That has opened up Super Chai Puntasrima's cut even more.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lowell weaves into range and cracks Puntasrima right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Puntasrima goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Lowell is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aaron Lowell!
Aaron Lowell decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
