The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira closes the distance and clinches up with Fiume, looking for a takedown. Oliveira pushes Fiume against the cage but Fiume circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fiume has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Oliveira is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

A close round but Orest Fiume will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Fiume enables Oliveira to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fiume manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Oliveira seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fiume has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Oliveira is working away from the top position though.

Fiume pushes Oliveira off and gets back to his feet.
Fiume is still on wobbly legs! Can Oliveira finish him?
Oliveira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fiume's waist but Fiume gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Oliveira off to one side.
A nice side step and Fiume releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oliveira cracks Fiume with a hook to the temple - Fiume is on wobbly legs here! Oliveira swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Fiume falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Oliveira wins by TKO!
