Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Muggerud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Muggerud cracks Boyle with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Boyle uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Boyle misses with a hook. Muggerud ducked under it nicely.

Muggerud avoids a punch combination nicely.
Muggerud could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Boyle cracks Muggerud with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Muggerud uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boyle.

Boyle scores with a jab. Muggerud acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Boyle might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Boyle sends Muggerud crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Boyle is motioning to the referee to let Muggerud up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boyle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Muggerud sprawling to the canvas! Muggerud rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Boyle finish him?!

Boyle is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Muggerud had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Boyle throws an overhand right that lands on Muggerud's shoulder, as Muggerud tries to avoid the shot.
Boyle lands a big uppercut and Muggerud crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Muggerud looks OK. Boyle waves Muggerud back to his feet!
Muggerud dodges the punch combination from Boyle.

Boyle drops his shoulder and cracks Muggerud with a huge uppercut! Muggerud goes down! Can Boyle finish him?

Lawrence Muggerud's cut is getting worse.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boyle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muggerud swivels though and keeps the full guard.
