The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nadir lands a big uppercut and Cupido crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cupido looks OK. Nadir waves Cupido back to his feet!
It looks like Shawn Jr Cupido has been cut.
Nadir pounces like a tiger and cracks Cupido with a vicious hook! Cupido is down but not out! Nadir follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Abed Nadir!
After the fight, Abed Nadir was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
