Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gok Won Khun (ranked 270 p4p, 40 weight class) and Jackson Trigger (ranked 267 p4p, 39 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trigger slips under a jab.
Khun connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Trigger momentarily.
Trigger just misses with a punch to the body.
Trigger falls off balance throwing a combination
and Khun counters with an outside leg kick.
Khun misses the jab.
Khun misses with a looping left.
Jackson Trigger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khun scores with a head kick. Trigger tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
We've been told by Khun's head coaches at Ice Cream Parlour that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Trigger lands a jab to Khun's midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trigger misses with a wild body shot.
Khun looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Trigger has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Trigger looks to land a right hand but Khun moved out of range.
Khun throws a right hand that Trigger ducks under and follows up with a left that Trigger also avoids with ease.

Trigger takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Khun throws an off balance right hand

Khun moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Trigger connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Khun's hands.
Trigger just misses with a punch to the body.
Trigger throws a right and a left that Khun avoids nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Khun. That's going to slow Trigger down.
Trigger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khun paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Khun throws a push kick but Trigger slaps the foot to one side.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trigger tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Trigger lands a body punch.
Trigger landing knees to the head.

Still in the clinch, Trigger scores with a nice short uppercut.

Khun is rocked!
Trigger blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Khun.
Khun misses with a punch to the body.
Trigger scores with a shot to the side of Khun's head.
Oh Khun is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trigger lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Khun backwards.
Trigger dips a shoulder and cracks Khun with a mighty uppercut! Khun falls back against the cage and Trigger unloads with a barrage of strikes! Khun is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Trigger screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
