Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon scores with a shot to the body.
Dotson shoots in looking for a takedown but Falcon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dotson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dotson moves out of range as Falcon throws a body kick.

Falcon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dotson did well to prevent Falcon getting side control.

Falcon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dotson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dotson wants to control but Falcon is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Falcon decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Dotson gets caught napping as Falcon dives in and scores a takedown. Dotson manages to retain guard.

Falcon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Falcon is looking to stand up but Dotson won't let him.

Dotson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Falcon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Falcon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dotson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Falcon manages to circle out of the way.
Jack Falcon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falcon shoots for a takedown but Dotson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As Falcon looks to move away, Dotson throws a big counter combo but Falcon just gets out of the way.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Falcon throws a combination that misses
and Dotson counters with a series of strikes. Falcon will be more careful next time no doubt.

Falcon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Falcon is pressed up against the cage. Dotson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Falcon down to the mat. Falcon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Falcon shoots in for a takedown but Dotson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hosea Dotson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Falcon has closed the distance and engaged Dotson in a clinch.

Dotson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Falcon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Falcon throws a combination that misses
and Dotson counters with a three punch combo that has Falcon backing up. Falcon nods at Dotson to acknowledge the strikes.
Falcon goes for a double leg but Dotson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dotson continues to drive forward.
Dotson throws a quick counter head kick but Falcon was just out of range.
Hosea Dotson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Falcon.
Falcon is breathing heavily.

Falcon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dotson!

Dotson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Dotson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Falcon.
Falcon misses with a straight right.
Dotson closes the distance and clinches up with Falcon, looking for a takedown. Dotson pushes Falcon against the cage but Falcon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Falcon wants to counter with a clinch but Dotson pushes him away.
Dotson wants to clinch up but Falcon keeps it at a distance.
Dotson darts in looking for a takedown but Falcon gets double underhooks and turns Dotson into the cage.
Falcon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Dotson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Falcon's best efforts.

Falcon decides to stand and escape the position.

Falcon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dotson was covering up waiting for the punch and Falcon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dotson pulls Falcon in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Falcon wants to control from the top but Dotson keeps moving.

Falcon throws a sloppy strike and Dotson has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Falcon is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Dotson!
