Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Croc Bot (ranked 5870 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyle Briggs (ranked 3236 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot falls off balance throwing a combination
and Briggs cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Briggs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Briggs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bot moves away.
Bot appears to be looking for a big counter.
Briggs looks to land a left hand but Bot moved out of range nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Briggs feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bots jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Briggs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bot was well out of range. Poor timing from Briggs.

The crowd cheers as Briggs lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bot doesn't seem phased though.

Briggs paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Briggs misses with a left hand

and Bot counters with a left and a right that hurts Briggs! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Bot jumps into full mount!

Bot is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Briggs is forced to tap! Great finish!
