Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ickey Woods (ranked 2664 p4p, 143 weight class) and Bryson Pico (ranked 2109 p4p, 115 weight class). Woods kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is System of a Down- Chop Suey. Pico has chosen Lowkey - G-Eazy as his entrance music. Bryson Pico struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bryson Pico!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pico has Woods up against the cage in a clinch.

Woods ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Woods no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Pico is working Woods over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Pico stands up over Woods, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Woods really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Pico shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Woods manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Woods controls Pico momentarily but Pico frees himself.

Woods is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pico is sitting in close to Woods's body. Woods has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pico is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pico is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Woods.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ickey Woods!
