Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Bush (ranked 7300 p4p, 0 weight class) and WoW WoW (ranked 23814 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, WoW WoW!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

WoW drives through and clinches with Bush against the cage.
Bush tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bush effectively controlling the action here.
WoW tries a body shot but Bush blocks it.
Bush manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
WoW tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

WoW pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

WoW moves into the clinch.
WoW struggles to land a body shot inside as Bush controls his hands.

WoW tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bush just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bush has clasped his hands together around WoW's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

WoW throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Bush tries to close the distance and clinch but WoW swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
WoW is trying to counter with his kicks.

WoW gets tackled into the cage by Bush. Bush maintains the clinch.
WoW misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bush.

WoW lands a nice shot to the body.

WoW manages to break the clinch.
WoW has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bush fails with an attempt to clinch.

WoW tries to keep at a distance but Bush has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bush gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, WoW regains guard.

Bush trying to control the position from guard on top but WoW is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
WoW wants to get back to his feet but Bush is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bush wants to stand but WoW is controlling his posture from full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bush controls from within his opponent's guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Bush uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

That was a close second round but I would say that George Bush will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

WoW fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bush, pushing him back against the cage.
Bush misses with a hook to the ribs.

Bush has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. WoW is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

WoW has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bush after a bit of a struggle.
Bush misses with a shot to the kidneys.
WoW misses with a punch to the body.
