Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Polliisi Partio (ranked 191 p4p, 30 weight class) and Ram Rocker (ranked 538 p4p, 78 weight class). Rocker has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Polliisi Partio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ram Rocker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partio takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Partio bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rocker's head backwards.
Partio moves out of range as Rocker strikes.
Partio connects with a solid leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Partio.
Rocker lands with a straight right. Partio didn't see that one coming.
Rocker throws a front kick aimed at Partio's knee but Partio avoids it well.
Partio with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rocker lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rocker throws a head kick but Partio moves out of range.
Partio is looking to counter the offense by Rocker and move into the clinch.
Partio swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Partio drops his hands momentarily and Rocker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Partio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Partio takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rocker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Partio throws out the jab.
A nice side step and Rocker releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Rocker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rocker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Partio's sensitive parts.
Partio looks to score with a jab to the body but Rocker is just out of range.
Rocker steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rocker misses with a looping left.
Rocker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rocker throws a shot from downtown. Partio moves away and avoids it.
Partio appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Rocker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Partio was well out of range. Poor timing from Rocker.
Partio swings for the body but Rocker moves out of range.

Rocker closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Partio's guard.

Rocker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Rocker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Partio avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Partio has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rocker should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Partio has tightened it up now! Rocker should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Polliisi Partio was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
