Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsu Shitzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teeratep Rawangpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawangpa tries to clinch up but Shitzu circles away and keeps his distance.

Shitzu shoots in and bounces Rawangpa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Shitzu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shitzu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rawangpa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Shitzu jumps guard but Rawangpa stands there with Shitzu around his waist. Shitzu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matsu Shitzu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shitzu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Shitzu tries to pull guard but Rawangpa holds him up against the cage and eventually Shitzu drops back down to his feet.

Shitzu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rawangpa walks away with a smile on his face. Shitzu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Shitzu wants to control but Rawangpa is keeping him busy.

Shitzu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rawangpa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shitzu.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Shitzu jumps guard and drags Rawangpa to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Shitzu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rawangpa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Shitzu has tightened it up now! Rawangpa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
